Campaign For Wool – 14th – 20th October 2013

To raise awareness of the benefits of wool, Campaign for Wool is staging Wool Week from the 14th – 20th October 2013.

Campaign for wool - Wool Week 2013The Campaign for Wool was started in 2010 to promote the benefits of wool. Wool is incredibly versatile and its use has huge environmental benefits. Wool is natural, renewable and biodegradable. Wool can be used in many situations such as clothes, insulation and felt. There are many benefits of using wool because of its natural properties from insulation/warmth to fire retardant qualities. Unlike cotton or man made fibres Organic wool doesn’t need warmth or chemicals to grow. The processes involved in getting a fleece to the finished product have little effect on the environment (if done properly with Organic methods). British Organic Wool is the perfect material for the environmentally concious consumer.

Celebrate wool week with us by buying one of our Organic British Wool products – many are currently on sale!
